"If our skin has no value, then our bones must be gold."

"If our skin has no value, then our bones must be gold."

Ethiopian American multi-disciplinary artist currently based in Spain.

Engaging with printmaking, painting, sculpture, and writing, I'm exploring the depths of skin, bones, and stains, as well as the memories that remain—both tangible and invisible, echoing in DNA, scent, and artifacts, long after we are gone. Intrigued by their evolving significance and physical transformation, I delve into how minds navigate trauma, seeking closure amidst injustice.

My creative journey attempts to weave diverse experiences and mediums into work reflecting human dimensions, while aiming to spark change.
